RUN INTO THE WILD RUNNING FESTIVAL @ The Wild Animal Sanctuary

The Run Into the Wild Running Festival is the largest annual event at the Sanctuary, with thousands of participants taking part each year! This special event offers three courses, catering to different fitness levels: the 5K Jaguar Jaunt (run/walk), the 5K Limitless Lion, and the 10K Tireless Tiger. 

The festival features lots of food, drinks, vendors, activities, face painting, and henna tattoos! Participants receive custom-designed running shirts, hats, and participation medals which is a great touch to the overall experience! Sheabeen Irish Pub is located approximately 2 miles east of the Iliff Avenue exit of I225 in the Country Square shopping center at the southeast corner of Iliff avenue and Chambers road, and provides a fun, friendly atmosphere with a large bar and tables that view the performers’ stage. Eric Golden is a Denver native singer/guitarist playing throughout Colorado and surrounding areas. With a show heavily influenced by the Bakersfield Country Music sound he will take you through decades of Classic Country. His covers range from Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, George Strait and many more. Dave has played the bass and sang with Eric since March of 2024, bringing the “Don Rich” to his Bakersfield sound.
